Founder’s Message
Welcome to Smart Schooling! As the founder, I am thrilled to share our journey and vision with you. Currently pursuing my doctoral degree in Mind, Brain, and Teaching from Johns Hopkins University, my research focuses on leveraging creative pedagogy to build authentic relationships with students. My experiences as an educator, curriculum developer, researcher, and academic coach have fueled my passion for mind-brain education.
I founded Smart Schooling with a commitment to transformative change, striving to make high-quality professional development accessible to all educators. My team and I work collaboratively with each school to create tailored professional development that addresses their unique needs and challenges. Together, we can cultivate learning environments that inspire and foster meaningful connections between teachers and students.

to ensure education accessibility.
Melissa Sullivan BA. MSc.
Director of Programming and Education
Melissa passionately advocates for neurodiversity and leverages her extensive experience in school education to ensure the programming offered by Smart Schooling is always relevant. With a background in school leadership as a Multi-Tiered Systems of support coordinator, she excels in coaching academic intervention teams, collaborating with educators and families, and leading professional development to enhance teacher retention and foster strong student-teacher relationships.
Kyle Greene-Pendelton MSc. CCC-SLP
Director of Creative and Strategic Affairs
Kyle brings over 16 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist to enhance educational initiatives at Smart Schooling. His extensive background in establishing programs for autistic students and addressing educational barriers in Africa informs his strategic vision, enabling him to create dynamic solutions that promote inclusivity and improve communication skills across diverse learning environments.
